Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple is one of the four most important Shiva shrines in Asia. Aside from being the incarnation of Lord Shiva, Pashupati is also known as the lord of all animals. Pagodas of this style are characterized by golden spires, copper roofs, silver corners and hand-carved wood carvings. The main temple's inner area is protected by a golden statue of Nandi (Shiva's bull). Pashupatinath Temple is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. There are two Arati's performed every evening at the Pashupatinath temple. In the Bagmati Ganga Aarti, the first is performed inside the temple, while the second is performed outside.
Inner Temple Aarti: There is an Evening Aarati ritual at Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu every day after sunset, based on the season. There is only a Hindu Devotee area inside the Aarati. Hindus around the world consider it to be one of the holiest shrines. An unforgettable cultural and spiritual experience, this ceremony involves priests, hymns, music, chanting and the lighting of lamps as an offering to Shiva.
Bagmati Ganga Arati: The Bagmati Ganga Aarti is performed every evening after Inner Aarati at the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal, as a Hindu religious ritual. Devotees gather along the Bagmati River to watch priests perform a ritual characterized by chanting, offerings, and the movement of large oil lamps. In the ritual, participants and observers are surrounded by a spiritual atmosphere. It is not permitted for non-Hindus to enter the main shrine courtyard; however, they may observe the riverside aarti of the Bagmati Ganga.
08 August 2027 (Sunday) Day 02: At around 8:00 am, we begin our holy sightseeing tour in the Kathmandu valley with a guide. Saga Nepal, a Shiva temple that is among the tallest in Nepal is Kailashnath Mahadev Statue. This is the second tallest Hindu deity in the world after the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue in Bali, Indonesia. A total of 144 feet / 44 meters high, the statue was made of copper, zinc, cement, and steel. The Kailash Nath Shiva statue is located about 20 km from Kathmandu in Sanga, Nepal. After Kailashnath visit drive to Doleshwor Mahadev temple.
Visit Doleshwor: The trip to Kailash is incomplete without visiting Doleshwor Mahadev and Pashupatinath temples for Shiva devotees. As of Aug. 22, 2009, Doleshwor Mahadev was officially declared the head of Kedarnath, one of the Char Dham Yatra. After the devastating flood of 2013, which destroyed Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand, Doleshwor Temple continued to offer regular prayers. In the Kedarnath Temple, the head priest requested that regular prayers be held in the Doleshwor Mahadev Temple.
Buddhist Temple Boudhanath: The Buddha shrine is a Tibetan pilgrimage destination named after its enormous stupa. During prayers and seminars, devotees stroll around the gleaming white dome adorned with painted Buddha eyes. Kathmandu's Boudhanath stupa. The stupa's massive mandala makes it the largest spherical stupa in Nepal, located about 10 km from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu. One of the largest stupas in the world, the Buddha Stupa dominates the skyline. This is the point from which Kathmandu Valley gained its glory. It is the nine carnations of Vishnu that we are showing in Boudhanath. The site has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.
Visit Guhjeswari: There are eight mother goddesses in the Astha Matrikas (Eight Mother Goddesses). Among them is Guhyeshori Shakti Pith temple. According to the Hindu legend Pauranik Katha. When Shiva's first consort SATI DEVI was insulted by her husband, she dropped herself into YAGYAAKUND (a religious fire ceremony). His corpse was burned senseless by grief when Shiva retrieved her and flew from Nepal to India. In the area where SATI DEVI's body lies, 51 Shakti Piths can be found. We call Guhyeshori the place where her secret part (GOPYA) vagina fell to, which we call Guhyeshori. We return to the hotel for a vegetarian buffet lunch, and she protects the deities of the Kathmandu Valley as well.
09 August 2027 (Monday) Day 03: Kailash pilgrims are taken to Pashupatinath temple early in the morning for Rudrabhishek, Hawan and Aarati. Eleven Brahmin priests prepare for fire offering Hawan in the Pavilion (Mandap) and perform Sankalpa Pooja in the beginning. Swastibachan (Preaching), Nyas, Rudra preaching, and Mahamritunjaya (Death victory) Pooja follow. The word 'Rudra', which means 'Fearful Lord Shiva' comes from Rudrabhishek, Rudranti Iti Rudri, and Rudhiryoge Metal. Among people on this planet, there is pain, violence, greed, and we sing religious hymns in praise of God Shiva to escape these miseries of life and to grant justice, good health, prosperity, peace and salvation.
Rudrabhishek: A Rudrabhishek ritual involves chanting Vedic mantras while bathing Shiva Linga in holy substances including milk, honey, and water. This auspicious ceremony invokes Lord Shiva's blessings, removes negative energies and obstacles, and promotes prosperity, health, and spiritual peace. As part of an auspicious day in Manasarovar, priests perform the Kailash Yatra in the evening of full moon or the next morning by Nepali Braman Pandits.
Rudra Hawan: An ancient Vedic fire ritual in Hinduism, Havan involves offering ghee, grains, and herbs into a sacred fire (the Havan Kund) to invoke divine blessings, purify the environment, and promote spiritual and material well-being. As a symbol of purification and illumination, fire signifies the burning of impurities and the connection between humans and the divine. Every Kailash Manasarovar group is organized by Monterosa Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd., will perform Rudrabhishek, Hawan at the Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu and the Manasarovar Lake in Tibet, China.
For this reason, Rudri is done to ensure peace in the World. Pilgrims begin their Kailash tour by visiting Pashupatinath and worshipping there. Devotees are believed to obtain all kinds of good merits by worshipping Lord Pashupatinath and performing Aarati. As a result, Kailash tours are believed to be complete only after a holy visit to Pashupatinath in Kathmandu. There is no doubt that Kailash Manasarovar is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in the World. Even more than 12 Jyothirlinga and Shiva Temples, Kailash is a sacred pilgrimage. The soul is superior to the human, the sages are superior to the human, the gods are superior to the gods, and Lord Shiva is superior even to the gods and Kailash is his dwelling place. As a result, every pilgrimage is incomplete without the Kailash Pilgrimage.
A popular religious practice is to perform Rudra (Shiva's idol) Consecration and fire offering (Hawan) to Lord Pashupatinath to wish for a successful Kailash tour. The Panchamrit Pooja is held every day in Pashupatinath temple from 9:30 AM to 11 AM by Bhatta Pujari after Rudrabhishek. It is a payable Pooja and comes with a Pooja Thali, milk, Rudrashas mala, flower garland and a lamp. Performing Panchamrit Pooja for Lord Pashupatinath fulfills all the desired wishes for the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra / tour. The ceremony concludes with the distribution of Prasad and Rudrashas mala. Only Hindu devotees can perform this, Pooja. Religions other than Christianity are not allowed to enter the main gates. All of these rituals are included in the Kailash Manasarovar package.
Budhanilkantha: In the afternoon around 2:30 PM, begin sightseeing with a holy guide at the Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan) Vishnu Temple, an open-air Hindu temple located in Budhanilkantha, Nepal. There is a large reclining statue of Lord Vishnu in front of Budhanilkantha temple, which is located below the Shivpuri Hill at the northern end of the Kathmandu valley.
Budhanilkantha depicts Vishnu sleeping on a snake bed in the middle of the cosmic ocean depicted by a big pool of water. Budhanilkantha means "blue throat disguised by mud" and has nothing to do with Buddha. The peculiar name refers to two legends attached to the statue, one of them claiming that a farmer found the long-lost statue in the mud when working his field with a plough and the other claiming that Vishnu sacrificed himself by drinking the poison of the cosmic ocean, which turned his throat blue. Back to hotel and free.

When the weather is clear, this spot offers a view of the Himalayan Mountains of Everest region.
Mountain Views: The view of the Himalayan range is stunning, including Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and Gauri Shankar.
Newari Culture: There is an old town area with stone-paved lanes, carved wooden windows, and courtyards that are typical of the region.

Nepal is connected to China through the bridge via Zhangmu, where the road joins China National Highway. The high-altitude border town of Nyalam is located roughly 35 kilometers (22 miles) from Zhangmu, the border entry point of the Tibet Autonomous Region, China. The county seat and border town of Nyalam is located 3,750 meters (12,300 feet) above sea level in the Shigatse Prefecture of Tibet, China.
12 August 2027 (Thursday) Day 06: Nyalam to Saga: In Tibet, the driving distance between Nyalam to Saga is approximately 250 kilometers (155 miles). The route passes near Peiku Tso Lake and passes through high-altitude terrain, including the Lalung La Pass. You'll get spectacular views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks and sparkling alpine lakes as you drive from Nyalam to Saga. The terrain changes from lush border mountains near Nyalam into vast, arid plateaus and valleys characteristic of western Tibet once you leave the greener border ranges. An ethereal, turquoise high-altitude lake reflected in clear blue skies by the surrounding giant peaks. Saga is near the Brahmaputra River (Yarlung Tsangpo), where you can cross or travel along its beautiful upper streams.
13 August 2027 (Friday) Day 07: The trip from Saga to New Dongba, 160 km away, takes approximately three hours by Tibetan / Chinese tourist bus. Driving from New Dongba to Prayang along the G219 National Highway takes 95 kilometers, and the bus ride takes an additional two hours. The drive between Saga and New Dongba and Prayang crosses the stark Tibetan plateau. A strong sense of spirituality, a nomadic lifestyle, and ancient chortens are a few of the highlights of the Trans-Himalayan culture. The Brahmaputra River is considered a sacred geographical and spiritual landmark in Tibetan and Himalayan pilgrimages. Saga to Prayang is approximately 255 kilometers away, and the journey takes about five to six hours. High, arid, and scenic Tibetan plains are traversed by a well-paved and high-altitude highway, but some sections are bumpy or unpaved, especially near towns and during melting season.
14 August 2027 (Saturday) Day 08: There are about 390 kilometers between New Dongba and Darchen, while there are about 255 kilometers between Prayang and Darchen. There is a seven-to-eight-hour travel time between Dongba and Darchen, and six to seven hours between Prayang and Darchen. Through small towns, dramatic landscapes, and spiritual landmarks, the scenic National Highway G219 takes you on a journey through nature. This vantage point offers views of the Tibetan plateau, high altitude plains, and distant Himalayan peaks. There is a mountain pass located around 5,200 meters above sea level, called Mayum La Pass, which offers stunning views of the nearby mountains. Lake Manasarovar is a turquoise-colored lake high in the Himalayas that attracts pilgrims from all over the world. Acclimatization is necessary before beginning the Mount Kailash Kora (circumambulation). Overnight stay in Darchen.
15 Augst 2027 (Sunday) Day 09: From Darchen, drive to Yam Dwar.) Yam Dwar is the Gate of Death. Yam Dwar is the starting point for your trek / walk around Mount Kailash. For those who are unable to walk, a pony and local porter can be hired for 4 days, but you must inform us while at Manasarovar, so the Tibetan Guide can arrange it. After walking from Yam Dwar for approximately 5 or 6 hours, you will reach Dirapuk. The north face of Mont Kailash is much closer from Dirapuk. There seems to be Lord Shiva himself staying there.
Watch Kailash Tour VideoYam Dwar in Kailash: In Hinduism, Yam Dwar is seen as a spiritual portal that can replace worldly worries with spiritual ones. Mount Kailash's sacred circumambulation begins at Yam Dwar, the gateway to the God of Death. There can be no overstatement of Mount Kailash's spiritual significance. Parikrama (circumambulation) of pilgrims embarking on a spiritual journey of purification and enlightenment begins at Mount Kailash.
Mount Kailash: Located Mount Kailash at 6714 meters above sea level, Kailash Parbat is a sacred religious place. Traditionally, this region has been considered the purest of all religious places. It is thought to be the center of the world and the origin of all religions before Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. There are many references to Kailash Parbat in the holy books such as the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Asia's civilization is incomplete without the description of Kailash Parbat, according to ancient Asian stories. In Tibet, Kailash Parbat can be found. There is a lack of satisfactory scientific research in this region. From the Brahmaputra in the east to the Karakoram in the west, this religious Parbat stretches for miles.
Even though they explained Kailash differently, different religious groups, such as the Shaiba, Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Bon - Po, respect it equally. Buddhist and Shaiba traditional literature describes Kailash as the world's center, which is part of Sumeru. Hindus believe it to be the residence of Lord Shiva and his wife Parvati. Kang Rimpoche is the name by which it is revered by Buddhists. As great natural Mandalas, Kailash and Manasarovar are regarded by Buddhists. For them, the Mandala is a symbol of respect and salvation. There is an isolated peak on this mountain that is worshipped by Jains as Astpada. This is the same place where Rishavadev, the founder of this religion, received spiritual salvation. Various logics can be used to claim this Parbat as sacred.
The isolated Parbat serves as a source for rivers such as the Brahmaputra, Sutlej, Indus and Karnali. Pilgrims should walk 38 km around Mount Kailash within three days, and if they add Charan Sparsh, it will take four days. People who move around the Kailash Parbat will be free of all their sins throughout their lifetimes, according to Hindu mythology. After moving around the Parbat 108 times, they will reach Nirvana. According to legend, a person who moves Nandi once receives the equivalent return of 13 rounds around Kailash. There is a belief that Kailash Parvat is the form of Lord Shiva and that the holy river Ganges flows from the snowy tip of the mountain.
From this Monastery, you can see Mount Kailash in a more beautiful manner. When viewed from Dirapuk, Mount Kailash appears between Mount Manjushree on the right and Mount Bajrapani on the left. Originally from Mount Kailash, the Ganges River meets the Lachhu River and merges with Rakshas Lake and follow out Karnali River. From Rakshas Lake's junction, the Karnali River emerges. The water from Rakshas Lake escapes through the Karnali River, but the water from Manasarovar is stored in the form of Lake Manasarovar
Charan Sparsh / Touch Kailash are closed august 2024: To touch Mount Kailash, known as Charan Sparsh, pilgrims walk for four hours (4kms) from Dirapuk. Getting close to the base of Kailash Mountain is like receiving a blessing from Shiva. In order to seek Lord Shiva's blessings, pilgrims perform pooja. The journey back to Dirapuk takes one & half to two hours. In Hindi, "Charan" means "foot" and "Sparsh" means "to touch." Together, these words are translated as "to touch their feet". Thousands of years have passed since Kailash Parbat's feet were touched. It is scientifically proven that "Charan Sparsh" encourages the flow of energy, blessings, happiness, and success by stimulating the vibrations of the human body touching the feet. In addition to gaining vigor, self-confidence and contentment, "Charan Sparsh" is like receiving invisible blessings.
16 August 2027 (Monday) Day 10: A walking tour from Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk (4790 meters - 22 kilometers). As we have to pass Dolma La Pass, which is 5636 meters above sea level, today is an important day. With an imminent snowstorm, the weather is unpredictable, so we should start our journey early. After passing the pass, we descend steeply to Shapje Datok and then flat to Zuthulpuk monastery. We will stay in mud houses or guest houses for the night.
Ganesh Kund (Sarovar): On the right-hand side of the walking trail, about 45 minutes before reaching Dolma La Pass 5636m., (Kailash circuit), there is a holy Ganesh Kund. The walking trail is 15 minutes away. This Kund resembles Lord Ganesh's bathing place.
Ther Legend of Gauri Kund: According to Hindu mythology, the legend of Shiva Purana mentions Gauri Kund or Parvati Kund as part of Sanatana Dharma. It is said that Gauri Sarovar is for Kailash Yatri's purification and compassion, that it purifies mind, body and speech. As a result, almost all Yatri of Kailash Manasarovar tours also include a tour program.
As part of the holy bath offered to Goddess Parvati Mata, the goddess had molded a picture of her son Ganesh from a cleaning solution frothing on her body and resurrected it. In her holy deep, she placed Ganesh at the path to prevent strangers from entering. At the same time, Lord Shiva came to his residence Mount Kailash, but Ganesh Jee did not recognize him. When Lord Shiva became angry & cut off the child's head, Mata Parvati became desperate & asked Lord Shiva to restore life to the child. As a result, Parvati had her son back. Kailash tour Yatri is fascinated by this real story.
The Meaning or Significance visit Gauri Kund: splashing the Jaal on their heads, Kailash Yatri purifies their minds, bodies, and speech during their Parikrama or Kora. For their ancestors to have peace in heaven, they offer TARPANA and Jaal (holy water). Their homes are filled with holy water brought from the Kund.
Where is the Gauri Located: On the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra tour, after descending steeply from Dolma La Pass, the highest pass, the round turquoise colored GAURI KUND is situated at 5608m., above sea level, but it has no trail, so you have to walk on massif rock.
17 August 2027 (Tuesday) Day 11: A light breakfast is served at Zuthulpuk, followed by three hours of walking to Chongdo and a drive to Darchen. Ngari Prefecture's Barga village (also known as Barkha) is a major crossroads in western Tibetan territory. The junction of Mount Kailash, Lake Manasarovar, Purang, Chiu Monastery, and Hor is about 22 kilometers south of Darchen. The Manasarovar Kora journey begins at Barga village, then passes through Hor, Top Hills, where Rakshas Lake and Manasarovar Lake can be seen, along with Chiu Gompas. Chiu Monastery is situated on the top of the hills near Rakshas Lake and Manasarovar Lake, and you can see eight Buddhist monasteries on the way up. Lake Manasarovar will no longer be available for pilgrims to take holy dips after 2018 AD. Upon reaching the lake, pilgrims will receive holy water and can bathe in holy water. The shrine performs three rituals: Rudrabhishek, Rudra Hawan, and Aarti Pooja, all performed by Nepalese pandits.
The Shiva Lingam is ceremonially bathed in sacred liquids while powerful mantras are chanted during Rudrabhishek, a sacred Hindu ritual. As part of this ritual, the Sri Rudram is recited alongside panchamrit and Manasarovar Jaal. The Hindus believe that visiting Lake Manasarovar on a full moon night is auspicious and spiritually powerful. There is a belief that visitors and pilgrims have deep spiritual experiences when they see the full moon's reflection on the lake's surface. When the full moon shines in the evening, Manasarovar Lake will reflect the lights reflected by the moonlight.
Full Moon Night in Manasarovar Lake.
Rudrabhishek in Manasarovar: There is an auspicious ritual on the evening before the full moon when Nepali Braman Pandits perform Rudrabhishek and Hawan rituals.
Khojarnath Temple: Khojarnath is a small Tibetan village located 85 kilometers south of Lake Mansarovar, containing the Khojarnath temple. It was during the Treta Yuga that Lord Rama, Sita Mata, and Lakshmana spent a night here while on a pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar. After traveling 170 kilometers in a Jeep round trip from Mansarovar Lake, there are images of Rama, Sita, and Lakshman in this temple. Bidding takes place every day here. The temple is located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
Manasarovar & Monastery: in Manasarovar & Monastery one of the guest houses or one of the mud houses below the Chiu monastery, you can spend the night. Chiu Gompa (or Chiu Monastery) is a sacred Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on a steep rocky outcrop overlooking Lake Manasarovar. Kailash Manasarovar Yatra passes through this ancient meditation cave constructed by Guru Rinpoche. Manasarovar Lake is located just 500 meters away from Gurla Mandata Monastery, which offers spectacular views of Mt. Kailash and Mount Gurla Mandata.
Rakshas Tal (Demon King Ravana Lake) Sarovar: As per Hindu tradition, this Lake is named after a Himalayan Lake. According to Hindu mythology, dark water hides carnivorous monsters. This belief led people to avoid this Lake, believing it to be a symbol of dark, destructive forces. This Lake's water is described as poisonous and deadly in a traditional religious story. The poisonous water of Manasarovar was therefore replaced by a tunnel from this Lake. The purity of this Lake led to the introduction of a golden fish into it. It was later discovered that this fish was still alive. In fact, it changed people's negative attitude towards the Lake and they started walking closer to it, but they still don't drink its water. According to Hindu mythology, Ravana made Lord Shiva happy by meditating in this Lake. It is situated at an altitude of 4,540 meters above sea level. There are many birds in Manasarovar, including ducks but not in Rakshas Lake.
Holy Hot Spring Place of Traditional: At the bottom of Chiu Monastery, an ancient monastery near Lake Manasarovar, there is a natural hot spring. There are thermal springs at Chiu Gompa that provide ritualistic bathing and spiritual renewal, and the water is believed to be healing. The natural hot water baths at Manasarovar are now protected by Tibetans and include a small bathhouse and payment system.
